tfw RHCP really aren't as bad as you remember them or as people would lead you to believe
It's not exactly poetry and Beethoven, but I can dig it. Sometimes.

um pretty sure i'm the only one here who hates rhcp i just used to vocalize it a lot.
still not as bad as eagles, los campesinos, ted nugent, pomplamoose, sublime, icp, and a few others, but i'd really like them forever erased from my memory.
hell, i can see why people like their pre-californication stuff even though i still despise all of that, it's just everything from that album onward that is like ear rape to me.

RHCP has some pretty good stuff. They're not brilliant or anything, but some of their songs are excellent. Maybe I'll listen to more than just Blood Sugar Sex Magik all the way through someday.

today i named my shared itunes library "i got 99 problems but my music taste aint one" yesterday it was "finally some GOOD music"/"dear miss laurie keiller(i don't even remember the name completetely) your music taste is quality" bc someone on the network had some GOOD shit up
and i have some great shared playlists "/mu/core aka no plebs allowed" (featuring NMH and ok computer what else) "ELECTRONIC FURRY MUSIC" "REALLY SHITTY MUSIC" (featuring linkin park, every song in my library with a swear, avenged sevenfold, a momentary lapse of reason, [even though I like it] justin beiber, et cetera)

Random Question for everyone.
Do you prefer the original electric Derek & the Dominos version of Layla, or the later version that Clapton did acoustic. I find myself nowadays preferring the unplugged version, maybe because I always found the piano section of the original song a bit boring.

I never cared much for Clapton's solo career.
