What are some of your favorite live albums? Live albums are great for one thing because artists can express themselves more and do some more free-form stuff or go into extended solos. They can be really amazing and songs can be done in some really interesting ways different from the record they're on.
Some of my favorites are Dream Theater - Live at Budokan, Led Zeppelin - How the West Was Won, UFO - Strangers in the Night, Dio - Live at Donington, Deep Purple - Made in Japan, and Metallica - Live Shit: Binge and Purge.
What are some of your favorites?

I'm actually not too big on live albums either. Generic choice but Nirvana's MTV Unplugged is great.

Megadeth's "That One Night: Live At Buenos Aries" Both Combat Ultimate Revenge tapes. (First one has Exodus, Venom, and Slayer. Second has Forbidden, Faith or Fear, Death, Dark Angel, and Raven.) I can't think of any more.

Everything said, but this thread has a startling lack of Frampton comes Alive! That's because Frampton sucks. Cheap Trick - Live At Budokan and Sgt. Pepper Live.
