I <3 Hair Metal. Sure, it's not the most intelligent music, but damn, it's hard to find more fun music.
Is it possible to hate WASP, Scorpions, etc.?

W.A.S.P. and Scorpions are in no way Glam Metal. Both are Heavy Metal.
Glam Metal is bands like Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Dokken, Poison, Cinderella, Ratt, Faster Pussycat, The Dogs, d'Amour, Firehouse, Kix, Hanoi Rocks, Pyromania through Hysteria era Def Leppard (Adrenalize to some degree), early Skid Row. And it is very similar to Glam Rock, it is just the Hard Rock version.

I'll admit it, everyone needs a little Glam Metal in there lives, though I honestly never liked Motley Crue.

One could argue Glam Metal isn't Metal actually and just the Hard Rock, errrr.... Heavy Rock version of Glam Rock. RateYourMusic seems to think so and Metal Archives seems to only list Glam Metal bands that are also Heavy Metal as well.

W.A.S.P. and Scorpions are in no way Glam Metal. Both are Heavy Metal. WASP has enough hair metal elements. 80's Scorpions definitely is hair metal, earlier and later depends. Admitedly, those weren't the best examples on my part, but saying they're in no way Hair Metal is silly.

ScorpionsW.A.S.P.They are two of the most common bands misidentified as Glam Metal, but in actuality both are Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.

I only like glam rock more because it's flashy and because T. Rex are one of the best bands ever. .~. I still find Hair Metal different than Glam because I said Glam Rock not Glam Metal. (´ー`)y-~~
