Give it a chance. You might love it. And there could be some nice girls in it. And then you could make it to State choir, and so could elysia if she joined choir. Then Wave can go to New York and see you. ;D

I'm kinda on the fence about what to tell you.
Really the question is, are you willing to go through torment and embarrassment to do something you (might) love?

That's what I told him Fish.
Pros: Cons: Get over being shy. More Bullying. Gain more friends. Seen differently by the school. Gain confidence.
It evens out really with Pros and Cons as the Cons way a bit more heavily than Pros.
Especially when it's not for a grade and just something to do. There's a lot better alternatives out there I think.

I don't see how it would make you gain more confidence unless you have stage fright.

I don't know what you guys are smoking....
Pros
You get to do something you love, that is something invaluable. You get to spend more time with your friend Jayne. You love music. You'll be part of a group that all have something in common.
Cons: You might get bullied more.
That's it.
I definetly think that you should do it. And Milk isn't obnoxious, and all of the choir people at my school are really cool.
Honestly, why should you deny doing something you love so you "might" get a little more popular.
Popularity doesn't matter, as long as you do what you love doing.
Do what you love, it's as simple as that.

And it can so give him confidence.
Preforming anything in front of a crowd can give confidence.
