MM, do you think your reviews could be more reviewy if that makes sense? Like I used to do them? I was thinking that as I was writing the last 2. But I'm not sure how to improve upon them suggestions? |

K haven't done one of these in awhile.
Modest Mouse-This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About
Dramamine was a pretty cool track didn't have much vocals was just some slow jamming. 8/10
Breakthrough had some pretty shitty vocals in parts of it. But still that nice slow jamming 5/10
Custom Concern had that slow jamming again some more bearable but slightly below par singing. 7/10
Might had an increase in tempo and really horrible vocals again. 3/10
Lounge has random screaming in it which is really horrid. Instruments are still really cool though. There's a rather crappy guitar part for a minute but it improves again. 4.5/10
Beach Side Property yelled vocals not screaming like before though. There's some really good guitar playing in this though. 7/10
She Ionizes and Atomizes has a rather shitty intro. But a bearable verse. However features screamed chorus. But the background vocals in the Chorus sung by a woman is actually really lovely just would rather mute the screaming. A rather crappy outro as well. 4.9/10
Head South one of the worst songs I have ever heard. There is coughing and weezing for just a majority of the song.
1.5/10
Dog Paddle a tempo change here possibly the only song that has a rather fast tempo. Actually a pretty good song.
7.5/10
Novocain Stain was actually a really decent song until 2 minutes in then it was just complete ear rape.

Tundra/Desert not that bad of a song. Some really choppy crappy vocals here. The "ohio"'s are really annoying. 5.75/10
Ohio there is someone like gasping throughout this whole song. Then random screaming. Then there's like random whistling in it. Cool guitar though. 4.9/10
Exit Does Not Exist this song is actually really good. Really good guitar solo. The small amount of vocals are highly bearable. Pretty cool drums too. 8.5/10
Talking Shit About A Pretty Sunset I actually was liking this one until the guitar riff about 2 minutes in for a majority of the song. 4.5/10
Make Everyone Happy/Mechanical Birds not bad. Got some cool drums and guitar. 6.5/10
Overall: It was either a hit or a miss. Some songs were pretty good songs and if they weren't good they were complete shit. Overall it showed a real cool slow jam throughout the whole album with almost a depressing speed. It was a pretty good guitar album except for some key ear rape parts. The vocals were pretty terrible for a majority of the album.
Reccomendation:Maybe a few tracks but definitely not the whole album. Maybe check out Dramamine, Custom Concern, Beach Side Property, Dog Paddle, or Exit Does Not Exist.
Overall grade: 6.27/10 or 3 1/4 stars or 62.7/100
