Coming soon
AVENGED SEVENFOLD! You guys asked for it, and we have more Avenged Sevenfold coming to Rock Band – one song from their latest album Nightmare, and one classic fan-favorite A7X track.
Poison! You demanded more hair metal, and here it is! Get out your hairspray and eye liner because we have a most excellent three-pack of hits on the way from the ‘80s band.
System of a Down! Two of the most often requested tracks from the metal band will finally be coming to the Rock Band Music Store, and one of those two songs will feature their first Pro Guitar/Bass upgrade available for RB3!
Soundgarden returns to Rock Band! An unstoppable six-pack of classic songs from the seminal grunge band will be coming your way, with most featuring Pro Guitar upgrades.

A7X can go fuck themselves.
Poison deserves MOAR ! but I'll pick it up.
SOAD, all I gotta say is we better get Sugar. Probably wouldn't buy anything else.
Sofa king happy at Soundgarden because 1. We may get Spoonman and Black Hole Sun back. 2. Other former GH exclusives are extremely likely now *cough*Metallica*cough* 3. I'm buying everything not called Black Rain.

Eagles are boring as fuck. SOAD really isn't that great, but they're really the only tolerable Nu-Metal group unless you consider Deftones Nu-Metal.

I enjoy a few select songs, but they're easily the most overrated band ever, considering their music is generic beyond belief.

I still don't like Poison, and it's not EVEN related to how much of a d-bag Bret Michaels is.

I still think Fallen Angel is one of the best hair metal songs ever, but I'll admit I enjoy Poison way more than I should.

SOAD really isn't that great, but they're really the only tolerable Nu-Metal group unless you consider Deftones Nu-Metal. SOAD isn't Nu-Metal. They're Alternative Metal. Nu-Metal has a hip-hop influence to it, so that's bands like Shitnot and KoRn. And there is some good Alternative Metal besides SOAD. Helmet for instance, and I guess HIM sort of too.

I've generally considered Alternative Metal and Nu Metal the same thing, due to many bands of both consistently switching between the two. And Helmet is post-hardcore and they totally kick ass.

Alternative Metal and Nu-Metal are different though. Yes most bands switch between the two, but not all, SOAD being the best example. And yes, some Helmet is Post-Hardcore, some is Alternative Metal. rateyourmusic.com/artist/helmet

SOAD has some Hip-Hop influences, they're just not as apparent as many other Nu-Metal groups.

I'll only buy Soundgarden. Rolbgie I think it was an 8 pack iirc from Wiki. Which could mean 6 new songs and Black Hole Sun and Spoonman.
