Guys, I don't like this bandwagon on Joe. It's kinda like Hans in Metallica; it was just New Player Syndrome. I think we should wait for some serious evidence before going off of a NPS post.

Being a first time player, I don't know of anything to help me other than announcing my role. It being the first day doesn't help either. If it is your only option, and you would still like to make an effort to stay in the game, roleclaiming would probably be a good choice and it would probably save you unless it sounds very phony, but also it would also make you a target for the mafia if your role is useful. I really don't want to, and I know enough about these games to realize it will only be worse if I do. |

Lol I brought that upon my self when I thought the game was going up in flames, so I said "Im mafia!" like three times, but then I picked up my game and was able to get out of it unscathed by using my superior awesomeness. |

No. and i don't advise you trying it either. I had thought the game was going to end because of some stuff that had happened, so I jokingly said I was mafia when I was not and I almost got lynched but I turned everything around and went on to play a really good game.
