Yes Robert Fripp is King Crimson. Joe Walsh has done a lot of stuff. I think Jack White is one of the most basic guitarists ever.

Basically all the ones I mentioned and also Michael Schenker, Rudolph Schenker, Allen Lanier, David Gilmore, Steven Wilson, Carlos Santana, Neil Schowne, Phil Collen, Wave Murray, and Alex Lifeson.
