I don't see how the guitar is better than the spoon.
If I were to take a bath in spoons it wouldn't hurt, but if it was in guitars it would be very painful.

Spoons are very soothing. And good luck playing an electric guitar in the water, and acoustic ones have fun with them falling in the water and breaking.
I can stick a spoon to my nose, I cannot do this with a guitar.
