They had control of the house and senate and could not do anything substantial. That health care reform bill was a joke. If the Republicans had that much control over the house and senate they get done whatever they want. That's all I'm saying. I don't mean pussies like republicans mean pussies. |

The health care reform bill was an improvement. I know it's not perfect, but it will definitely help a lot of people by making it more affordable, and so insurance companies can't drop you when your sick. If anything we need government run health care. The privatization of health care is the most morally repugnant thing capitalism has to offer. And if republicans gain control of the congress or senate (which they won't) they aren't going to do shit, except a government shutdown. And yes limbaugh is an idiot. |

I think it would be hilarious if these tea baggers actually lose seats. It is amazing to me that people are ready to turn the country back over to these assholes that ruined the country. I don't think the tea party will gain many seats and I don't think the republicans will gain control of either house. Their nominees are way too far right. They want to privatize public schools, repeal the 14th amendment, repeal all the progress we've made since Obama took office. Some even want to abolish the separation of church and state! They're dangerous and way too far right. Voting them is like voting for the Nazis. |
