Both are different though. A monologue is a lengthy speech in front of people I think, while a soliloquy is the same, but alone.

^ Pretty much.
Though this particular has been both a monologue and a soliloquy, since in some productions, Ophelia and a few others stayed on stage to "spy on him" or something.

There are always emotionally disturbed teenagers in Shakespeare's plays. Ophelia being the one in Hamlet. Hamlet is probably my favorite Shakespeare play that I've read though. Though there are some really weird parts...
