I say Elton because outside of an occasional single, Joel is pretty bad.

Is it even a contest? Elton John by a longshot. Though I really enjoy Billy Joel.

The sad thing is the inspiration for this was meeting a ton of Billy Joel fanboys online a few days ago.

I really loved Elton John more than Billy Joel before the 18 songs in Rock Band, but it's strange how the quantity of songs available have probably swayed me towards Billy Joel. If Elton gets his almost inevitable 12 pack (I'd be bitterly disappointed with anything less, unless it included Your Song), I'd probably be more inclined to choose Elton John. But for now I'd probably chose Billy Joel (although I haven't voted in this poll as of yet.
Such is the curse of the Pro Keys player.

Almost anything Elton John did in the 60s and 70s was great. Pretty much anything past those decades was pretty terribad.
Almost anything Billy Joel did on a greatest hits album was great. Pretty much anything released on one of his albums was pretty terribad.
