So, how about dat Super Bowl! Soup is probably still crying at this moment. Good game, good halftime show, crazy power outage: this one had it all! Yeah I was pretty upset, but hey there's always next year. The Niners are going to be built around Kapernick now, so everything they did last year with him will be perfected or improved at least.

Dammit there goes another chance for #6. There was some great playing on both sides, but man oh man, that was some of the poorest officiating I've ever seen. Look for the NFL to put out a statement about that tomorrow. I bet they're gonna fine Sherman too. What an asshole. I can't stand athletes who can't display any good sportsmanship.
Neither Wilson nor Kapernick looked particularly good, though Kap was impressive on his legs. Another off season will do him good. He'll be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL someday and he will win a Superbowl with the Niners.
So last year we had the Haurbowl, this year we have the Pot Bowl. Go Denver. Manning deserves another win.

footballin'
As a Raiders fan, I must root for Seattle in the Super Bowl, though Manning and the Broncos are a hell of a team. Sherman will indeed have to prove that he's "the best corner in the game". I'd be interested in seeing what the weather's like on Super Bowl Sunday! If it's bad enough, the game might be moved to another night.
Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers ftw!

Everyone in the NFC West is playing everyone in the AFC West for next season. Niners at Oakland. Broncos will be tough in the regular season, but at least Seattle has to face them again.

Ooooooooooo! I just hope the Raiders are better next season. The Bills didn't do too bad for being the Bills, but the Raiders pretty much sucked. It doesn't help that every other team in their division made the playoffs and one made the Super Bowl. But hey, anything could happen! Remember when the Texans and Falcons were top-tier teams and the Chiefs were the worst team in the league? The time has come for the Raiders to actually be competitive again.

You're lucky you live all the way in New York, haha. I have to deal with all of their "New Era of Excellence" commercials here. It's quite sad. The don't seem to realize that they haven't been excellent in years. Though I don't think they used any of those commercials this season, I haven't seen one in a while.
Anyway, a Raiders turnaround would be quite the thing indeed.

What a Super Bowl... if you're a Seahawks fan. I'm very happy for the Seahawks, as I must hate the Broncos. Speaking of the Broncos, where were they tonight? A butchered snap which lead to a safety, two Manning interceptions, and Seattle defensive dominance. Definitely not the "best game" that everyone was looking for, but it was still entertaining and I'm satisfied with the Seattle win. I was also pleased by Bruno Mars' halftime performance with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Though I was skeptical when it was first announced that Bruno Mars was playing the Super Bowl, I found it to be a great performance. Cool drum solo, solid performances and choreography, and the Chilis rocked the place.

It was my step-brother's favorite game. Well, not that it was competitive or anything, but he saw his favorite team and favorite band dominate! I gave him a poster to commemorate the event.
