What're new york driving licence requirements? Gotta be sixteen, then you go take a written test and BAM permit and then after six months at the least, 50 hours behind the wheel, and a five-hour licensing course you can take a road test at the minimum age of 17. However, if you're 17 it's a junior license which means you can't drive after 9 PM and other wonky stuff. It upgrades at 18 though. But if you take driver's ed on your own you can get the big daddy license at 17.

What're new york driving licence requirements? I know you have to be at least 16 to get a learner's permit, and you have to have at least 40 hours of driving experience and take a 5 hour pre-licensing course before you can take the driving test. You can get a license before you turn eighteen, but I believe there's certain restrictions on when you can drive and who you can drive with until you reach a certain age (probably 18). Or what Elysia said (which is probably more accurate since I got my permit ages ago and haven't gotten my license yet).

I wouldn't be surprised if most people in NYC don't learn how to drive until later in life, if at all.

NC seems like Louisiana. Get your permit at fifteen but you have to take Driver's Ed. At 16 you can drive alone and then at 17 you can drive alone at night.
And, about NYC, nobody can drive? Or just teens can't drive?

it's ok, I'm almost 22 and still don't have my license. I've failed the test twice, but I've got well over the 40 hours I'm supposed to have haha

Failed my dual enrollment entry exam because I didn't do the work in the states own step by step progress. (Even though i happened to get 94% of all the questions right) I also happen to lean too far torward the artistic personality rather than well rounded or scholar. Its fucking bullshit and whoever graded it should be fired.

Kay so for some reason all of you with fluttershy avatars are confusing the crap out of me. I keep thinking you're all the guy I like (who has a fluttershy avatar on a different forum) and I think at some point one of you referenced a significant other and I proceeded to headdesk repeatedly until I remembered what forum I was on.
I have a problem
