This seriously makes me excited as hell, a 3D environment that's fully interactive has to be the most innovative thing GameFreak could have brought to the series. The starters are cute enough, an improvement from the 5th generation. I get a sense from the attacks that they use that they'll be dual fighting, psychic and dark types, and that you'll no longer have a rival that will have the upper hand.
Perhaps when Pokemon Z comes out, we'll get a 3D version of Hoenn that you can go back to after beating the main story, since people have begged for remakes of Ruby and Sapphire.
Psyched as fuck.

It is heavily implied in the title and the Japanese logos of the game that genetic engineering will be a plot point. Also, there's the inevitable 3rd game (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum) that will be called Z. X, Y and Z... 3D axis on the 3DS. |

I was hoping someone took a screenshot of Will Wright from the Simpsons Game yelling "I'M WILL WRIGHT BITCH" so I could reply to your picture but it does not seem to be the case.

Yeah, like, they're inside of a game or something and Will Wright is the villain, right, and I think Bart tries to get Lisa to stop him and she says something and he spins around and goes, "I'm Will Wright, bitch!" XD
