I thought Disintegration by The Cure was depressing, but that's just me. I can never understand how that album is depressing. To me, it seemed like generic 80's pop. >inb4 people hate me

Disintegration is the by far the best album listed in this topic, but I've played it so much that it doesn't really depress me so much anymore.

Yeah, I don't see this either. Outside of Tired of Sex and Butterfly, there is nothing really depressed on the album, more just frustrated and confused. Good Life is absolutely Depressing, Across The Sea, No Other One, Pink Triangle etc. They are all pretty depressing to me, lyrically anyway.
