I think the minute and a half of them pretending to affect some sort of "THE WORLD OMG GLOBAL MELTDOWN GLOBAL WARMING GAS PRICES EVERYTHING IS SHITE" attitude with bad video transitions was worse than the thirty seconds of unoriginal pleb-step.

I am also curious as to what the first law is. It is probably "If you are a mainstream rock band who wants to 'keep with the times' so you don't lose your 'fans', you must get worse and kill everyone's dreams by immediately latching onto the worst musical trend ever and commercialising the HELL out of it.
Also you must sell your souls to Satan's asshole."
