I actually can't fall asleep without music because my internal monologue is silly and likes to keep me awake!!! it's weird and I like to have music to concentrate on, so I have a lot of sleep music songs and playlists, heh. I usually listen to whole albums and keep the sound down so I don't have to switch, so I really like:
SBURB by Homestuck Ambient 1: Music For Airports by Brian Eno (Apollo is pretty good too!) Anything by Godspeed You! Black Emperor The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place by Explosions in the Sky American Football by American Football! Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd Mogwai Young Team by Mogwai Boxer or Alligator by The National The Last Resort by Trentemøller

Is it weird that music doesn't help me sleep? Other than a few cool times where I fell asleep in my study hall listening to Devin Townsend's 'Ghost', Slowdive's 'Souvlaki', and others, music usually keeps me from falling asleep. I end up focusing on it too much, I suppose. I'm the same way too! The only times I listen to music to help me sleep is like on trips and stuff. But outside of that, music doesn't usually help.

The song "Introduction" on SKARP's album Requiem helps me sleep, I guess, although it's kind of hard to tell because I don't really sleep properly It's just a short little piano tune... very simple but quite relaxing ^.^ -- completely different to SKARP's other songs!
