There's like a small bit of in between like Converge...

Seeing things like Senses Fail, Underoath, Big Bad Vodoo Daddy, Kanye West, Bon Iver, and a few others made me really cringe.

MBV, Deerhunter, DK's, Xiu Xiu, GY!BE, Husker Du, Mountain Goats, Beach Boys, Pixies, Smiths, Bob Dylan, The 'Mats, Melvins, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, etc. more than made up for the bad though.

I really like Kanye West, but whatever. I can understand why you wouldn't like Underoath and Senses Fail, basically just because they're generic suicidal teenager bands, except that I see them differently from other bands similar to them. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is kind of cool when you first check them out, but they're definitely on the decline for me. I still like them, though. And yeah, Bon Iver is one of those mainstream indie acts that everyone loves to hate. Oh well, I like him.
