I don't know, but whatever it is, it should have less than 20 players and all the players need to promise that they will be active for the entire game. Coheed was terrible.

Honestly, most in-active game ever.
The updates were great though.
I'm looking forwad to Monty Python & The Holy Grail mafia though.

I'm being inspired by the Three clan mafia game hosted by Renata on Total War Forums. I'm thinking of either using that formula (ie each team has a said amount of members, and wants to wipe out each other team) or changing it to Pokemon whereby each team starts with one trainer and a Pokemon, they may attempt to recruit more Pokemon to their team (some people will begin as Pokemon in the wild.) There will be special abilities, and water is more likely to win against fire etc.

I've been thinking about a small open setup to run here at some point. It's basically Kingmaker mixed with Dethy.
It would be:
10 players
2x Mafia Goon
3x Vanilla Town
1x Sane Cop
1x Insane Cop (always returns opposite of actually alignment)
1x Paranoid Cop (always returns "mafia")
1x Naive Cop (always returns "town")
1x Kingmaker
Every night (including N0), the Kingmaker chooses who to make king for the day (and submits a backup choice, just in case their first choice is killed). The king decides who will be lynched (no other player has a vote), and as soon as the king votes, that player is lynched. If the Kingmaker is killed, a random townie (could be one of the cops) becomes the new Kingmaker (in addition to whatever role they already have)
It seems like it could be pretty fun, and it's a small game. It's pretty easy to host/balance too, since the setup is open.

Robbie's idea sounds sorta interesting too, but it sounds like it's basically 3 cult leaders facing off eachother. I could see it being fun, but not with a 12ish person setup.
