Screw disco. That is all. Way to fucking corporate. You obviously don't know how to dance. I don't give two shits about dancing so why would I care how to do it?

Disco ? Corporate okay soup, go be a "I hate all corporations" on RBF and get trolled by gowie, I dare you. If you are hating on corporate music you are hating on 90 percent of your favorite bands.

Are you kidding me? Disco is one of the most corporate forms of music ever. Private dance clubs don't sound corporate to you in the first place? In the late 70's anti-disco sentiment proliferated at the time because of over-saturation and the big-business mainstreaming of it. You know the movie with John Travolta? Saturday Night Fever? It caused major record labels to mass-produce hits, a move which some thought as turning the genre from something vital and edgy into a safe product made for mainstream audiences. And if Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedy's says that disco is like Wiemer Germany because of it's apathy towards government and it's escapism, in which for the case of disco is just escapism, and he also called it a "beautiful woman with a great body and no brains." Anything that Biafra says is a fact anyway...

What's bad with something being corporate?

The vast majority of corporations are evil. They are only motivated by money. All of their byproducts are made in 3rd world countries and all their employees there get paid just enough for a bowl of rice for their who families to eat for dinner. Big business is only there to help themselves and they will continue to screw the middle class over. That's what wrong with something being corporate.
Yes, I know. I am quite the little lefty.

I am not saying disco ISN'T CORPORATE, I am saying that Apple Corps is a corporation too, so The Beatles were evil and fueled by money, well I guess my life is a lie, time to go kill myself.

Not ever corporation is evil. Notice I said most. And every member of The Beatles are very anti-corporate. Apple-Corps is a good corporation if not a bit misguided at times (i.e. Badfinger).

Escapism ? Isn't that what ALL music is about, using the calming state of music to keep yourself from going insane in such a shitty world ? Or is that just me.

So, apparently Disco is making children starve in Africa?

Yes they are. Apple Corps just sorta lead them astray for a while. Hence their album Ass and the album artwork is metaphorical for how they thought they were lead astray.

So, apparently Disco is making children starve in Africa? If those records are being printed in Africa then possibly.
