I know soup plays it so he can help me rant about how fun it can be. But I can't force myself to play 5, it just isn't great to me.

I played it for four hours the day I bought i (two days after release) and haven't played it since.

It's not as good yet. Civ IV is better because of the expansions and kitchen sink mods.

my friend and I play Civ 5. He was very disappointed with all the glitches, but he's up to date on all the patches, but me and him are still waiting for the Hot Seat patch.

i never downloaded any mods for civ iv, just the expansions. And I enjoyed the game.

Mods imporve the game so much. Check some out. Vanilla Civ BtS is not nearly as good as it with some of the mods.

RoM was fun, but my computer couldn't handle it that well. And I couldn't get AND to work  I did enjoy BTS though. As an off note, when playing vanilla BTS what leader did you choose and what difficulty did you play. I usually went with WvO on Monarch. |

AND is standalone now with RoM in it. Real easy to download. There's also Next War Advance which has RoM/AND in it and other modmods.

I did enjoy BTS though. As an off note, when playing vanilla BTS what leader did you choose and what difficulty did you play. I usually went with WvO on Monarch.
