I listened to Let It Be yesterday. I found it alright. I know it's supposed to be one of those awesome classics that everyone should like, but I really found it to be just ok. I Will Dare is great. After that, I found tracks 2-4 to be pretty bad. Main reason: I really don't like their punk era. I started to really enjoy the album when they slowed everything down and sound like the alternative Replacements that I love. Thats pretty much from Androgynous till the end of the album. However, I really didn't like Gary's Got A Boner mainly because it went back to having punk influences. Let It Be has it's ups and downs, and the downs ruined the album from me. I prefer Tim and Pleased To Meet Me over this album.
Highlights: I Will Dare and Unsatisfied
Overall: 6.5/10
My scale:
1-3 - Bad
4-6 - ok
7-8 - good
9-10 - awesome
