I literally got done listening to this three and a half minutes ago. I have to say this album was okay and I have to agree with Soratar that the latter tracks were better.Despite the fact that many songs on this album are fillers (Tony's Tonsils, Gary's Got a Boner etcs.) They are crucial to the album.Though this may not be the best of The Replacements albums it certainly holds a place in the history of the band. All in All this album does not suck. I give it 7/10

Even though I do prefer Tim over this album, I feel this album bridged the gap between Punk and Alternative. And I still can't get Gary's Got a Boner out of my head after all this time. Yes, the album's slightly inconsistent in it's style, but I feel it was supposed to be that way. The more Alternative tracks (I Will Dare) are pretty ahead of it's time. You may say this is bias, but here's a big fuck you: 10/10

Let it Be - The Replacements
I Will Dare: Ok song. Nothing special.
Favorite Thing: I could definitely here the Punk influence in this song. I enjoyed this song.
We're Comin' Out: I wouldn't call this song Alt. Punk like Favorite thing. This song is strait up Hardcore Punk. I greatly enjoyed this song.
Tommy Get His Tonsils Out: Another Alt. Punk song. Not as good as Favorite Thing or We're Coming Out. Better than I Will Dare though.
Androgynous: Meh. I did not like this song.
Black Diamond: The original KISS version is much better, but they did a good job at covering it and this I think if also the best song on the album.
Unsatisfied: A pretty good song. That's all I have to say about that. Forrest Gump reference for all of the uncultured people out there. And you can tell that I am not 100% if I'm talking about a movie that has nothing to do with this song and album. But it is an awesome movie.
Seen Your Video: I liked this song. Little odd though how the lyrics start late up in the song, not bad or anything but that's more common in a Prog song or something.
Gary's Got a Boner: Good song. It had a very Proto-Grunge song. When it first started I thought I was listening to Nirvana.
Sixteen Blue: Not much to say. It was good though.
Answering Machine: Not bad at all. A nice ending and an enjoyable song.
Full Album Review: 8/10

People who haven't listened hurry up and do so. You might find something you like about it, like myself.

Ok, I'll listen to it now. And don't expect it to get like, an 8/10 if I think it's just OK. It'd only get that high if I think it's totally awesome.

Let It Be - The ReplacmentsTrack listing: 1."I Will Dare" 2."Favorite Thing" 3."We're Comin' Out" 4."Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out" 5."Androgynous" 6."Black Diamond" 7."Unsatisfied" 8."Seen Your Video" 9."Gary's Got a Boner" 10."Sixteen Blue" 11."Answering Machine"Some of the songs are great punk tracks, but on the other hand, on a lot of the other songs there's really just nothing going on. Some of them I would even call pop-punk. The vocals also sound really pop-punk and don't really work too well if you ask me. The majority of the songs are really boring though. I mean, I guess I can see how it's a really influencal alternative album, but for the most part it's just half-decent punk rock. Anyway, over-all the punk songs were pretty good, and there were a few good alt-rock tracks, but the majority isn't really that great. 6/10Key tracks: Unsatisfied , We're coming out, Favorite Thing

Just listened to it, and It's a pretty great album, though I prefer Pleased to meet me a little more. I think that this could be the starting influence of pop punk, but there are some great tracks on it. My presonal favorite was We're Comin' Out, because it was really just straight up punk. It was a great album, other than Gary's got a boner, which I didn't really like, but there just wasn't really anything special about it.
I give it a 7/10.
