It's pretty pathetic when people like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber get like combined of all their videos 5 billion views while The Beatles, Metallica, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Nirvana combined get like 2 billion. I remeber hearing on the radio this morning that Lady Gaga's Alejandro had achived 1 billion hits on youtube beating Justin Bieber's Baby video that only achieved 500 million. It makes me sad that over 5 billion people don't know good music. Like my one friend is like "Kid Cudi OMG HE'S THE BEST!" my other friend is like "Hollywood Undead OMG THEY ARE THE BEST!" then my other friend listens to fricking screamo. It truly saddens me that children these days have to be introduced to crappy bands while never hearing The Beatles except like 3 songs and thinking that Lady Gaga is better than The Beatles.

I honestly think Lady Gaga cares more about her music than present-day Metallica and Pearl Jam do.
Also, I really dislike a lot of the music you're mentioning Musical, so I agree with you, but I can't help but get annoyed that you have to generalise everyone who's seen the videos, saying they have "No taste" and stuff like that.
Just my 2 cents.

It is a matter of timing. If youtube was around when the Beatles came out all of the bands after would still be chasing them. You are getting worked up for nothing.
