We have just found a keyboardist, and I really love this song. The guys kinda don't want me buggin' them about playing it though, so maybe if enough people want us to, they will agree to. So what do you guys think ?

No, because I don't think your drummer or singer could handle it, it wouldn't be a very good live song, and it would feel out of place in your repitoire. Just my opinion.

The song isn't complicated on drums; I'm sure he could handle it. Their vocalist seemed pretty good, so I wouldn't be surprised if he could sing it well enough. Depending on how they do the cover, it could be good live. You might be right about it feeling out of place with their other stuff, but again, depends on how they do it. I mean, hell, my old band covered Never Gonna Give You Up, and we were a punk / hard rock band. |
