I can make those two seperate awards if you wish, but to many awards is to many.
Best Opening Act: Get 5 vids of you playing, vote on the best opening act will take place after the contest.

So is the best performance based on the score, or is it based on the actual performance?
Because trying to do something like "I Need to Know" on drums would be sorta dumb if it were score based, since HMX charted the hihat somewhat randomly.
I don't think I'm doing the performance thing either way (I don't think I have a video camera), I'm just curious.

You have Pro too. Ah it burns! I hope you haven't been setting fire to the Pro guitar, like our old friend Jimi.

@jesus
Best Performance is based on score. The "Best Opening Act" is basically best performance EXCEPT you get to vote.

Just wondering, am I the only one who plays expert pro keys, also I assume normal drums and pro drum scores are considered separately , given that I don't have pro drums.

Do we really need the rule where we can't talk about how we're doing on the songs? Talking about it could keep people more interested. I guess strategically, it's a bad idea, but I don't really care about that.

Pro Drums and Normal drums I think get the same score considering it's the same notes I think just modified. I don't think Pro gets more notes. Also I can play Expert Keys too. I just didn't sign up because it's next to impossible to play keys and get overdrive at the same time. I wish they would have made a more convenient way to trigger overdrive.

Actually, on pro drums, each note has a base value of 30, while on normal drums, it's 25, so pro drums would have a 20% point advantage. I think the only way to do it is to play both normal and pro drums (or just normal if you don't have the cymbals). I haven't gotten around to getting the midi adapter yet, but isn't it just a button that you can activate with your left hand? I don't know how they could have made it more convenient than that.

Most people tend to try and play the chords with both hands. So they tend to lose the streak in order to activate overdrive. I've gotten pretty good at activating OD now though.
