I really don't get how picking any songs you want will work.
Like, I could pick the Who Superbowl S-mashup or I Heard It Through The Grapevine, get a billion points, and win.

Okay Just disc songs.
I have 5 on disc songs. Well more like 8.
So I set it up like this.
The following 4 songs everyone is required to do and must be done on theuir repective instrument(s)
Easy - I Love Rock N' Roll
Medium - I Need to Know
Hard - Break on Through (To the Other Side)
Expert- Dead End Friends
And then there is another catagory I picked titled "Insane". With insane, each instrument has its own song. They are.
Insane
Guitar - Freebird
Bass - Llama
Keys - Roundabout
Drums - Llama
Vocals - Good Vibrations (Live)

Well I suppose I will do drums and bass for this set, not really fun songs to sing. But I will attempt good vibrations on expert vocals

Anything but roundabout. That song is just death. There is no way to play that on expert pro keys without losing a finger or breaking the keyboard, how about Llama or BoRhap or something? BoRhap would be good.

When you post your score post what difficulty you did it on.
And the"insane" songs are there because they were what Rock Band 3 said was the hardest on each instrument. I'll switch that song if morepeople request a change.

General Rules
1. You must turn in all scores to me by the deadline (Will be announced at a later time). To prevent me from looking at your scores and making mine higher I will make a seperate account that I will not log in to until it is time to write up the winners.
2. No sharing scores with anyone else. i.e Saying "Hey, I got over 9000 on Llama, I am so beast"
3. Any difficulty is fine, just keep in mind going on hard probably won't give you higher scores than everyone else.
4. No-Fail mode is permitted
5. You must play each of the following songs on the instrument(s)you signed up for. There is a fifth song that is different on every instrument. You'll have until the deadline to get the highest score possible.
I Love Rock N' Roll
I Need to Know
Break on Through (To the Other Side)
Dead End Friends
5th song:
Guitar: Free Bird
Bass: Llama
Keys: Roundabout
Drums: Llama
Vocals: Good Vibrations (Live)
Awards
Best Guitarist
Best Pro-Guitarist
Best Bassist
Best Pro-Bassist
Best Drummer
Best Pianist
Best Pro-Pianist
Best Singer
Best Rocker
Best Performance
Now here is how the grading system will go. Let's say you entered guitar, I'll take all of your scores on the 5 songs and add them up. Whoever has the best guitar score will win that part and gain title of best guitarist.
For those of you interested in "Best Rocker" Here are the requirements.
1.You MUST be entered in all different kind of instruments, non-pro. (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Vocals) It's non-pro because not everyone has the pro instruments, Keys are the exception for this.
2. Must do every song on expert. (No-Fail mode is permitted.)
3. Will take all of your scores and add them up, one with the highest score wins.
And if anyone is willing to do this.
Best Performance is for those who are ballsy and have a video camera. Here are the requirements.
1. Must have performance on while doing everything. (You will do this seperatly from your orginal)
2. Must be videotaped.
