Meg White is one of the worst drummers ever. I don't find Jack White's guitar playing that good either. The White Stripes don't even come near to an ounce of the awesomeness of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.

I like The White Stripes too, but they don't rank anywhere near any of the Rock greats, no band of the last 20 years ranks among the rock greats.

Yessir, no one can steal a song quite like Zeppelin. Care to point that out? Green Day steals songs. 21 Guns rips of an ELO song (I forgot the name of it though).

and those other bands you mention, do they credit the original writers? If so then they are not stolen.

dazed and confused for one Uh...no. Jimmy Page heard that song when he was with The Yardbirds and then he wanted to write his own version of it. It was never intended to be an original song.

but he credited the song to himself when it wasn't. So I can write a new version of Strawberry Fields Forever? Yes he did credit it to himself but he wanted to write his own version of it. Yes that was wrong with him but as far as I'm concerned they are completely different songs. I don't think they sound similar at all. It's essentially a different Dazed and Confused. I see it as I see Metallica's One and Three Dog Night's One. Different songs.
