You don't have to listen to the whole album you have to know a couple songs on it and at least some background on the album.

Argh someone not like Band on the Run? *Points to SMAP.* I enjoy solo Paul to a certain extent, but it's all really fluff to me. And I had a feeling this would stay a while, and I kinda wanted to start knocking it down. |

I'm not gonna grade stuff down bcause I'm afriad it'll beat one of my favorites.
Frankly, Band on the Run is one of my favorite albums. I like every song on there.

Well, it's not even that. I've heard all of these albums (except that Christopher Tin or whatever) and I never found it particularly enjoyable, and I'd put it above Fallen and maybe American Idiot.
So, no I don't exactly find it one of the greats either.
