Deep Purple has had many lineups over the years. Their most famous lineup, Mark II, consisted of Ian Gillian, Ritchie Blackmore, John Lord, Ian Paice, and Roger Glover.
What other lineup do you think is best. Mark II would be my favorite but I think I have to go with Mark I as my second favorite.
The other lineups are:
Mark I (April 1968–July 1969)
Rod Evans – lead vocals Ritchie Blackmore – guitar Nick Simper – bass, backing vocals Ian Paice – drums Jon Lord – keyboards, backing vocals
Mark III (June 1973–May 1975)
David Coverdale – lead vocals Ritchie Blackmore – guitar Glenn Hughes – bass, vocals Ian Paice – drums Jon Lord – keyboards
Mark IV (May 1975–March 1976)
