It's completely terrible. The gameplay-- so unrealistic and it feels like you don't have any freedom. Your previously created creatures overpower you. Plus, you can't even win.

I've easilly won it >_>
And how do your previous creatures over-power you?
Around your nest in the creature stage you just encounter weak stuff.
And the space stage is REALLY long, but is easilly beatable if you keep playing.

Spore is a great game, and I spent countless hours playing it with my friend. The space stage is exceptionally long, and I never actually "beat" it, but I did finish some very key objectives in it. I found the center of the universe and I killed the entire Grox empire, (I think that that was what they were called) but I never found all of the collectibles or explored every possible place or did all of the challenges. Overall, it is an amazing game and the concept of it is new and innovative.

lol, I was gonna ally them and I was really close too, but one time when I was doing a mission for them and they sent out ships to attack me like they always do, but I never shoot back, but I accidently brought one of my allies with me and they shot at the grox ships and then they started a war with me, so I had no choice but to wipe the entire race out. I also made another account and attempted to ally them, but I made them angry when I was trying to help them because they were attacking a planet that was close to their empire, so I thought it would be nice if I blew the whole planet up for them, but apparently they didn't like me using the planet blaster thing so close to their empire and they started a war with that account too. |

Using the planet buster near their empire increases relations with them.
You probally killed the stuff that was on the planet.
Also wiping out the entire empire must have taken FOREVER.
Allying with them is way easier.

I love Spore, I still however, have not destroyed the Grox or allied with them.

Yes, it took forever. I just set up a whole bunch of civilizations near them and went grox hunting for at least a few weeks. That was what caused me to lose interest in playing spore and it was probably the biggest waste of time I have ever done, an even bigger waste of time than doing the Endless setlist 2 and having the game freeze during the last note (of vocals) on painkiller. I was so pissed off after that and I stopped playing rock band for at least a few months and ever since then, I haven't enjoyed Rock Band as much as I used to.

After that your pretty much finished. |
