So I got this idea from the History of Rock forum on rockband.com, and I thought it might be a fun music game to try out here. It's pretty simple, you just copy and paste you last weekly chart from last.fm, and rate it. The way you rate it is by dividing the artists into different tiers one be one you like or really like, think are ok, don't like, etc. How you do that is up to you. You can use colors, or symbols like a plus or minus. Then you just do a simple rating out of ten. I hope that makes sense. Here's an example: Gang of Four, The Beach Boys Van Halen, Red Hot Chili PeppersNicklesack5/10 Here would go your reasons why if you so desire. And then you post your chart. For the colors it's easier to write out the tags because the color wheel has a lot of colors and you can't click on the default ones anymore. I've never understood dadrock. Is it bad to listen to older artists? Half of the stuff isn't even stuff that would be considered "dadrock." And no this thread was never made before.

Could've swore there was another thread like this. Might have been on the old proboards forum or LavenderSyndrome or the like.
There's nothing wrong with listening to dadrock, it's more of a categorization for rock music that was made 20 years ago. As of yet, just about anything related to rock music can be classified as classic rock/dadrock that has been made in 1991.
So at some point and time, Slipknot will be Classic Rock/dadrock.
