And here we are in the third installment of the Music Battle Royal series. In our last match Rush easily beat Uriah Heep in a head to head match up. Our first two matches have ended in the same way, a clear winner over that gained whopping victories over their challenger. I predict, however this next match will not be so close. Now let's see. Joy Division was a short lived band, but delivered nothing but great material during that time. They were extremely consistent. Gang of Four was great... but after their third album the fell apart, and haven't done much good sense. In 2005 they did release one interesting thing, Return the Gift, which was a collection of reworked and remixed songs and it was pretty darn good to be honest. But if we mostly just compare Gang of Four to the time that Joy Division was around they inch a lot closer together. Gang of Four's first album Entertainment! is a perfect album. There is not a single flaw, it really helps them hold up. And because of that superb debut album, that godly set of songs, I have to give this battle to Gang of Four. I can ignore their early work. Sorry Joy Division you came close, but Entertainment! seals the deal for me.
And you know... Damaged Goods is just so damn good.

Uhhh.... Talking Heads! They'd be my favorite post-punk band (though granted, they're from the U.S., so they couldn't be in this poll).
I guess I'd go with Gang of Four, since I don't like Joy Division much, if at all.

Hell, what a tough decision. Gang of Four is my pick though.

Joy Division made two perfect albums IMO.
I like Gang of Four, but they never were amazing or anything.

Joy Division. That wasn't very hard.
