It's not like I'm trying to one-up her or anything. All the movies that I know she's seen are good, but she just watches sooooo much of it. I just wonder how she manages it.

well lately i've been watching lotsa godard not much else am i cool yet? Do you, like, ever do anything for fun? I've noticed that a lot of what you consume is extremely arty. Not that arty stuff is bad, but you have sooo much. My brain would crumble. @_@ i also watch an excessive amount of cartoons (Horse dick, adventure time, spongebob, etc) and disney movies in my free time. wow i'm so cool. It's not like I'm trying to one-up her or anything. All the movies that I know she's seen are good, but she just watches sooooo much of it. I just wonder how she manages it. yeah i guess i spend lots of time watching obscure/arty movies but yknow YOLOswag Note: to be more serious, I just have lots of time on my hands. I also try to keep an open mind and have lots of patience and everything.

I saw The Royal Tenenbaums. I heard some stuff about how it was annoyingly quirky, but I actually thought it was pretty good even though Margot's a bitch and I didn't like how Ritchie (who was the best ok) got with her in the end. Plus there was some Elliott Smith and Nick Drake in the soundtrack. So. Yeah. I liked it.

Watchin' Citizen Kane oh boy EDIT: it was good Love that movie. The last movies I watched were The Dark Knight Rises (great, though I think the 2nd was better), Stand by Me (WHEAAAAAAATOOOOOOOOON, good though), and Magical Mystery Tour. I wish I was high for that one. It was really trippy and had no coherent plot (something about riding on the bus, but all the randomness!). It should've been longer so it could've had the whole album.

I just saw Bernie last night and it was really good. The three lead actors (Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine, Matthew McConaughey) were all great, and the bits with the actual Carthage residents were really good. Before that, I saw The Hobbit, and that was amazing. I saw it in IMAX 24 FPS 3D and it was fantastic. I understand why people thought it was slow at the beginning, but I did not mind. I thought the whole thing was great, especially the scene between Bilbo and Gollum. Andy Serkis was really great. MY LAST SIX MOVIES: Bernie: 9/10 The Hobbit: 10/10 Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid: 10/10 Dr. Strangelove: 10/10 Wreck-It Ralph: 8/10 Paths of Glory: 10/10 For those who may be interested, if you're into movies you should join letterboxd.com. I have 3 invites if anyone wants one.

Last night I saw Steven Sheil's Mum & Dad, overall I'd probably give it around about a 7/10... Pretty average film, but certainly not bad for a director's debut from Sheil. The plot was quite generic, and the ending was disappointingly predictable to a certain extent, but it was well filmed, the "effects" were decent, and it's probably something I'd watch again. ;D

You KNOW it's British when the tagline has "bloody (noun)" in it.
