This Is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About: 7/10 The Lonesome Crowded West: 8/10 Building Nothing Out of Something: 8/10 The Moon & Antarctica: 10/10 Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks: 4/10 Good News for People Who Love Bad News: 6/10 We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank: 4/10 Great band, TM&A has always been one of my favorites. The "empty" feel of a lot of their music has always intrigued me. Terrible inconsistency though.

The Smiths: 7/10 Hatful of Hollow: 9/10 Meat Is Murder: 6/10 The Queen Is Dead: 10/10 Louder Than Bombs: 8/10 Strangeways, Here We Come: 9/10 Huge Morrissey fan here. The jangley guitar hooks, the sneering sarcasm in the lyrics... just a delight to listen to, The Smiths never made a bad album.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn: 10/10 A Saucerful of Secrets: 7/10 More: 6/10 Ummagumma: 8/10 Atom Heart Mother: 7/10 Meddle: 8/10 Obscured by Clouds: 7/10 The Dark Side of the Moon: 8/10 Wish You Were Here: 8/10 Animals: 8/10 The Wall: 8/10 The Final Cut: 6/10 A Momentary Lapse of Reason: 4/10 The Division Bell: 4/10 Floyd fanboys will rage at the sheer amount of albums I put on the same tier (8/10) but honestly, those are all more or less solid Prog. Piper is just a mad masterpiece though. And The Final Cut should've been the final cut by them ( instantrimshot.com ) because they got boring after that.

I'll do all of yours, just not in one post. Pablo Honey: 8/10 The Bends: 9/10 OK Computer: 9/10 Kid A: 10/10 Amnesiac: 8/10 Hail to the Thief: 5/10 In Rainbows: 6/10 The King of Limbs: 6/10 Their first five albums are great and worthy of the hype (Or in PH's case, needs more appreciation) but afterwards they really lost their touch, even though I'd still consider In Rainbows and TKoL as good.

The Velvet Underground & Nico: 10/10 White Light/White Heat: 8/10 The Velvet Underground: 8/10 Honestly never listened to Loaded. Pretty great band, I feel like any VU fan would agree with my ratings, don't believe I need much explanation.

Sonic Youth: 6/10 Confusion Is Sex: 7/10 Sonic Death: 3/10 Bad Moon Rising: 8/10 EVOL: 9/10 Sister: 8/10 Daydream Nation: 10/10 Goo: 10/10 Hold That Tiger: 6/10 or 7/10 (I have two issues with slightly different tracks) Dirty: 7/10 Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star: 9/10 Made in USA: 3/10 Washing Machine: 8/10 A Thousand Leaves: 6/10 SYR 4: Goodbye 20th Century: 7/10 NYC Ghosts & Flowers: 6/10 Murray Street: 6/10 Sonic Nurse: 6/10 SYR 6: Koncertas Stan Brakhage Prisiminimui: 6/10 Rather Ripped: 8/10 SYR 7: J'accuse Ted Hughes / Agnès B Musique: 6/10 The Eternal: 7/10 SYR 9: ‘Simon Werner a disparu’ bande originale du film: 7/10 In the Fishtank 9 (With I.C.P. and The Ex): 6/10 Huge SY fan here. Enjoy all of their albums and outside of a few horrid experiments have a near flawless career. Got a little tiring between Washing Machine and Rather Ripped, but sprung back into action afterwards. Legends.

Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash: 7/10 Stink: 7/10 Hootenanny: 8/10 Let It Be: 10/10 Tim: 10/10 Pleased to Meet Me: 9/10 Don't Tell a Soul: 7/10 All Shook Down: 7/10 Also a huge fan of The 'Mats. They're great when they meld together their hardcore punk roots with gained knowledge of poppy alt rock, but the more they lean to one side instead of the other the worse they get, but they're always pretty good stuff.

Gluey Porch Treatments: 9/10 Ozma: 9/10 Bullhead: 8/10 Lysol: 7/10 Houdini: 8/10 Stoner Witch: 8/10 Stag: 7/10 Honky: 7/10 The Maggot: 8/10 The Bootlicker: 7/10 Hostile Ambient Takeover: 7/10 (A) Senile Animal: 7/10 Pigs of the Roman Empire (With Lustmord): 6/10 These guys are just great. I don't care if they're everyone's first sludge band, they're still easily among the best. I'm in a minority in finding their very early stuff best though.
