sort of invalidate the purpose of having a board for music? After all, every thread ever could have just been posted in there since they are, after all, just random thoughts and ideas. Same goes for the other Random Thoughts threads.
And to stay on the board's topic, the Grateful Dead's Europe '72 is a total 10/10.

Sometimes, though, it's good to have individual threads about related subjects. Otherwise, the Random Thoughts and Ideas threads would be more overloaded with posts than they already are.

I've always seen it as posting news and ideas that don't need entire threads made about them.

Random Thoughts & Ideas is about things that don't have to do with music and don't need their own thread. If they do have to do with music, they go in Random Thoughts & Ideas: Music Edition. Simple.
