Yep, this just happened today, to everyone's surprise. Not only did JonTron announce his departure from Game Grumps today, Danny Sexbang from NinjaSexParty has replaced him, and his first episode with Arin was posted on their channel. In addition, the new series Steam Train, starring Dan and RubberRoss, was announced and its first episode was released today as well.
I think everyone's mostly disappointed by the lack of Jon on Game Grumps. It is, of course, great to see Jon back and doing his reviews, which he has mostly neglected over the past year. I understand why Jon would want to focus more on his reviews, and I know that Game Grumps would need to go on with a replacement. However, the way in which this all was done was pretty awful. Instead of changing everything on one day, Jon's departure should have been announced earlier, and Danny should have been slowly integrated into Game Grumps. Instead, this day feels like a slap in the face as Game Grumps has been turned into the Danny Sexbang gaming show. (That intro too? Ech!)
What does everybody think? I'll still be subscribed to channel and watching their videos, though that may change depending on how the next week or two of videos are.
