It's still the best thing for getting single music downloads. Torrents are only good (musically) for albums.

Limewire is A LOT faster and MOAR convenient than torrents for singles. Seriously Limewire has improved a lot from whenever you last used it.

Honestly the best way to get a song, particularly a newer one is to find a site that has it streaming and take it from there. Limewire is for people that like to get viruses, but don't know they have viruses and wonder why they have 65 searchbars on there internet explorer.

I ditched limewire, if I want one song really bad I will just dime out 99 cents for itunes, if I want an album, I either a. borrow it from a friend and rip it onto my ipod or b. buy the album from my local record shop used for 6 bucks.

I steal my music like any good American. If there is an album or artist that I like I will go purchase the album. My theory is that good music needs to be supported, mediocre music does not.
When I was in high school up until I got the Interwebs I bought 2-3 cds every tuesday just about. And most sucked. So I put in my money. It is there turn now to get screwed over.

I use Limewire for single music files. It's hard to put a virus in those. It's easy when downloading a whole album torrent.

not really, you can open the folder before hand and see what the files are. You can take one or the whole thing. If you like limewire have at it. I am trying to give you different options. Download helper for firefox is pretty awesome.
