We need a serious rule change. People like me, Gary, and Robbie and some others are by now most likely used to playing by mafia rules that are used on CFC, TWC, etc. Those rules are far better imo and we should switch from Ernie's rules which are good for beginners, but we've all played quite a few now. So I know the rules can't change mid game for ones going on, but for future games please do. For everyone who isn't familiar with MOAR advanced mafia rules here's the link to the TWC mafia game page. Just look through some of those. www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=463

Yes, I agree with soup. Certainly things like any majority for a lynch, and PM in some games should be allowed.

Ernie's rules are the "advanced" rules. They're consistent with rules on mafiascum and other places with higher caliber mafia players.
That said, I can get behind having it so that the player with the most votes gets lynched, mostly so that the games actually move a bit more. I think that for Rush Mafia I'll do sort of a hybrid, like make it so that if the deadline comes, and someone has at least 1/4 of the people voting for them, they get lynched.
The only problem with the "lynch whoever has most votes at deadline thing" is if there's a tie. What do you guys normally do on TWC/CFC?
I've already said what I think about being able to PM other players a bunch of times. What else is different about TWC/CFC?

People have personal goals and and items on CFC/TWC. Also private communication is allowed.

No private communication. That ruins the game. Majorly.
I like items and personal goals though. I think atleast 1/3 should still be needed to lynch though. Like, if it were 1 against 1 against 1 against 1 against 2, that just wouldn't be fair.
Still, Private commication ruins the game. People can claim without the other players knowing. One of the big points of ROLE CLAIMING is that EVERYONE sees. That way you only claim is you had NOTHING to lose. I say no private communication.
The rest I'm sort of fine with as long as there's no private communication

Then don't play the games with private comm.

There's nothing in the rules that prevents people from having personal goals or item, people just haven't made games with them. If you guys want to make more complicated games, I would definitely be down for that.

I need to talk to him about that, but he's never on. Maybe I can drag him away from Black Ops for a little bit. I could help you make Musical Mafia
