www.minecraft.net/No, it's not on Steam. It's in the alpha phase now -- that's before beta. But you can buy it anyway. It's 50% off while it's in alpha so that makes it 10 Euros, apparently that's $13, almost $14. I've only played the free version though because I don't know any good servers to join (classic OR full version). So I'll gladly buy it if there's a good server to play on with people I know, no griefers, and that's hosted often, if not 24/7.

No, but I am constantly playing on a CFC server. It uses this cool system: sites.google.com/site/townymod/walkthroughRight now there is only one nation and two towns. Me, my friend, his sister, my brother, and whoever else I can get (snow and wave perhaps?) to form a new nation so we can go to war. Are you guys interested? |

Well there's a free version of Minecraft (the site calls it Minecraft Classic) which lets you play, in-browser, single player or multiplayer. That's 100% free, just pay to use your internet or mooch off of someone else's. OR you can buy the full game (it's weird to say that, considering it's not even in beta until Monday) and then you can do single/multiplayer on/offline, and as far as I know, you have to pay to get to the full version servers.
