Feel free to request any albums you want me to review.
I'll post an album review I posted on another site awhile ago for one of my favorite albums. Then, I'll be re-writing my Abbey Road review.
Anyway, if you want an album reviewed just request it, and I'll review it.

MTV Unplugged In New York - NirvanaTrack listing: 1."About a Girl" 2."Come as You Are" 3."Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam" 4."The Man Who Sold the World" 5."Pennyroyal Tea" 6."Dumb" 7."Polly" 8."On a Plain" 9."Something in the Way" 10."Plateau" 11."Oh Me" 12."Lake of Fire" 13."All Apologies" 14."Where Did You Sleep Last Night" Now, there are, for the most part, 2 good kinds of live albums. The explodey insane ones that the band could never capture in studio (Kick Out THe Jams, Live At Leeds, Bob Dylan's Bootleg albums) and the acoustic ones. This album is the latter. This album probally isn't what most of you would expect from Nirvana. It's not the explosive loud grunge bomb that is Nevermind. No, this album is more in the style of the more mature Nirvana of In Utero. It's a more stripped down layed-back performance. Not only does it not have the insane wailing guitars of Nevermind, but they don't play the hits either (Except for Come As You Are...). They play a ton of covers too which really shows where Kurt Cobain got a lot of his influence from. Kurt's vocals on the album are also totally incredible, which is actually probally because they didn't play their hits. I remember reading somewhere that Kurt didn't like that Nevermind became so popular and hated playing stuff like Teen Spirit live. Kurt's vocals are just awesome on this album, they have an almost haunting sound to them on some of the tracks. Grohl's drumming is also awesome. Now, while the original Nirvana songs on the album are great, the covers are absolutley amazing. There's Bowie, The Vasolines, and Lead Bellies covers. The Meat Puppets even show up to play a few songs with Kurt. Seriouslly, this album is just awesome. I know I've said this like, 4 times, but Kurt's singing is awesome. Just listen "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", "Lake Of Fire", or "Dumb" Really, this album is just incredible. 10/10

d00d there's so many album review threads out there! I hate it when people copy other people! You should just delete his thread! Someone already made one very similar!
Sound like someone?

Good review but if you think Nevermind is explosive loud Grunge (which it sort of is, especially Endless, Nameless), you clearly have listened to Nirvana's first (imo best album) Bleach.

I name-dropped Nevermind, because that's the one everyone knows. It makes a better comparison. Yes it's their most well known album, that's true. But it's not the heaviest. Though it the hidden track is definietly their heaviest song. Sorta Black-Metalish... and awesome.
