Raconteurs are too poppy for Jack White to go back to his White Stripes greatness.
I could see him pulling it off with The Dead Weather though.

I hope he'll do another Dead Weather/Raconteurs album sometime, atleast. Both Dead Weather albums were fucking incredible, and the Raconteurs second album was great. I'll miss the awesome thumping bass drum and virtuosic bluesy guitar playing. The White Stripes were one of the best bands ever. It fucking sucks they broke up. |
