And for good reason. If the president were to have too much power, the people couldn't rebel and say that he has to much power?
My opinions on this.

1. No immediate double posting, since it's annoying as fuck. I agree; obviously excluding mafia games and the spam section. Just edit your last post if you want to say something more. One more alt, and I'm out for good. This is out of control. /agreed And for good reason. If the president were to have too much power, the people couldn't rebel and say that he has to much power? My opinions on this. I sort of agree, but people need to respect the mods at least somewhat.

Rules have been updated to a more concrete set of rules taken from Crash Mania with modifications. This should help clear up any confusion and give us a more conrete foundation.

The no porn thing is so obvious and already is in Proboards TOS. Besides, why the fuck would you post porn?

- If you lack common sense, you will be kicked out. If you are annoying, you will be kicked out. This rule is too harsh. Everyone deserves a second chance. - Forums are based on opinions, so when you say "Subject A is good in my opinion", you're just being redundant. Everyone knows it's your opinion. This rule doesn't make sense. It's fine to state that it's your opinion. - Don't tell staff members how to do their own jobs, because considering they're part of the staff and you're not, they know about staff obligations better than you. Questioning authority is not a crime. Sometimes the higher-ups need criticism to know how to do their jobs better. This rule actually kinda offends me. - If you're going to create a topic, do remember to explain what it's about. "I love this series! Does anyone else watch it?" That is not how you start a topic. That is how you encourage people to participate in a beefless poll about who likes the subject in question. It's not the start to a discussion, so don't even bother posting it, because it will be locked. Different example: " something.com That's messed up." This is another way you do not start a topic. If all you're going to post is a link to something and don't bother to give a proper explanation as to why you posted it, why you care about it and/or why it's relevant, then don't do it at all. I disagree. I think it's fine to start topics like this, but they should be in the spam section. - Do not make "What's your favourite _______?" topics. Those only lead to tons of empty posts from people who only bother to point out their choices, without explaining why. These rules are just restrictions! Why is it not a good idea to start a thread like these? They haven't been a problem before!! - Avoid posting in topics that haven't been active for a long time. Unless you have a really good reason to bump the topic (posting your opinion about something people have stopped discussing over a month ago is grating, especially if you do it often). I never have understood why this is bad. Remove this rule, because if someone has something to add to the discussion, no matter how old the thread is or how useless the comment is, they shouldn't be ignored. Overall, these rules are just too harsh and too restrictive. I thought this forum was more liberal than this ruleset. :/
