Come Sail Away, Mr.Roboto, Renegade. They don't deserve to go. Marilyn Manson csan go. I'm iffy on Genesis. Take out suicide. Keep Mariah Carey, she has A LOT of single that hit no.1 very close to Elvis I think. Mariah Carey is in the top 5 for most no.1 singles of all time. Number 3 I think.

Styx have done nothing. Get rid of them for sure. Same with Manson. Maybe Genesis, only if the majority thinks so. Get rid of Mariah Carey... But COME SAIL AWAY, COME SAIL AWAY WITH MEEEEEE! That song is incredibly cheesy. The lyrics are awful. The synth solo blows (a lot). The piano intro is completley out of place. dur. Genesis didn't DO anything for music. And even for a generic band they're not that great.

But Mariah Carey has created constant generic pop singles with no thought in them. Her influence is only providing more of the same....

But Mariah Carey has created constant generic pop singles with no thought in them. Her influence is only providing more of the same.... Regardless she is still influencial. So she fits criteria. Your influence has to do something though. I'm pretty sure Nickelback has influenced tons of generic garage bands, but you don't see me suggesting them.

Guys, just because they're popular doesn't mean they deserve to stay. We could apply the same logic to Justin Bieber and say he HAS to be in the top 100. That's not how it works. Remember, there is only ONE HUNDRED on teh list. We have to make them the absolute complete best ones we can.
Styx are really generic and did almost nothing for music. Mariah Carey can also go. I don't really think she deserves on the list. Same for Manson.
Just because they're not BAD doesn't mean they're TOP 100 OF ALL TIME.
