I think Rise Against and The Arctic Monkeys can go.

Guys, just because they're popular doesn't mean they deserve to stay. We could apply the same logic to Justin Bieber and say he HAS to be in the top 100. That's not how it works. Remember, there is only ONE HUNDRED on teh list. We have to make them the absolute complete best ones we can. Styx are really generic and did almost nothing for music. Mariah Carey can also go. I don't really think she deserves on the list. Same for Manson. Just because they're not BAD doesn't mean they're TOP 100 OF ALL TIME. Agreed 100%

B-butubutbub T_T dasdfgldgfggingl They're one of the most critically acclaimed modern bands. They're debut was the fastest selling in the UK. They're awsum. We can atleast wait until later to get rid of them.

Gary and I are on the same page here. Van Der Graff Generator are great, but not quite fit for the list.

I guess they can stay for now, but still......

Now see you guys are being way too close minded again with your anti-pop stances. Mariah Carey has influenced a lot of music and definitely deserves a spot.

There's far more influential pop on this list, and Mariah's the worst.... Please. Let her go.

All of Mariah's sales are from people who have moved on past her and/or don't care about music as a serious art form. She's been doing what's already been done for years.

But we have ABBA, Madonna, Gaga, Bee Gees, MJ, Marvin Gaye, and more who have done far more for pop music than her with similar sales. Hell, I'd put Celine Dion before her...

I vote that we keep Mariah Carey for now. Mariah Carey is more deserving than some other artists on the list. Arctic Monkeys I votetostay as well.
Kansas should go.

I'm not against those two going, I just think that we should delete the ones that definetly shouldn't be there.
