Time to get prepped for The Seer. I hope it's good (I know critics say it's pretty good, but you know) 'cause I like Swans and I'll be so fucking mad if it sucks because I already wasted $5.00 on Against Me!'s debut and it was total shit. That reminds me, I have to listen to both Soundtracks for the Blind and The Seer sometime in the future. However, not only is the gigantic length of these albums making it hard for me to take the time and listen to them, but the difficulty of finding high quality rips of these long albums also prevents me from wanting to listen to them. I don't even have The Seer downloaded, and my version of Soundtracks for the Blind is in 192 kbps. Careful when digging around for The Seer. The first copy I got had every track as a 32kbs rip of Houses of the Holy. lawl

The Seer was pretty cool, but it's getting overhyped. Most Swans albums (even the 2010 one) are better. It's not anything like Soundtracks is it? I'm not sure if I can handle another one of those. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't necessarily good in my opinion. Too mellow and long for me (as mellow as Swans can be, anyway). It's actually a pretty similar vibe...I dunno, it's a toss up on if you'll like it. I prefer Soundtracks, myself honestly.

(*using spare time to listen to Bob Dylan and not the Song Contest whoops*)
So I didn't used (is that proper English?)
I never liked Time Out Of Mind before, but I'm totally digging it now. I don't know what happened.

The new Dylan is so fucking good. He sounds pretty rough, but that kinda adds to it I think.

Seeing Third Eye Blind on saturday... the original plan was Elvis Costello (who would've been preferable) but TEB is good too. Haven't been to a big concert in nearly a year now, jesus.

Speaking of concerts, I didn't find out Guided by Voices was coming to my city until the day of... fuck.

I have to do an equal mix of what goes in my spot a far as genres are concerned though and I have a lot of albums already but idk man, might as well have input~

In October, the album I'm looking forward to the most is BTBAM's 'The Parallax II: Future Sequence', though I'm certain you know about that one. Another interesting release for me would be Heart's 'Fanatic'. When I saw them live, they were promoting this album and played a few songs from it. Other notable releases include Dethklok's 'Dethalbum III', Kiss's 'Monster', The Mountain Goats' 'Transcendental Youth', Muse's 'The 2nd Law' (which is bound to be shitty), and Taylor Swift's 'Red' (which could be, according to a /mu/tant, "experimental as fuck").

Transcendental Youth changed my life. Please review it when the time comes, I'll be your BFF.

Well, for the time being the stuff I'm doing is just blurbs for albums. It's only the first issue, and we have to see what I have room for and such. I'm definitely reporting the release of Dethalbum III, Muse's new album, and Taylor Swift's. Also I might tell everyone that One Direction is releasing THREE... That's right, three new albums this month supposedly. Or maybe I misheard Toki and it's an album a month? Who knooooows. Aerosmith and Green Day have things coming out too, heh. And I gueeeeeeeess I'll mention some weird indie folk band is releasing something and it might be okay.

I looked it up, and it seems like they have only one album coming out in November, 'Take Me Home'. The other releases might have been singles and stuff. Green Day's new album hits shelves next week, while Aerosmith's won't be out until November, though they both sound pretty promising based on what I heard.

Green Day's new album is just okay. Only 5 songs are really good. On an unrelated note, I like a 30 Seconds To Mars Song. Oh the guilty pleasures..
