I didn't even know that's an actual word. It's not haha. That's why it rocks so much.

What's everyone listening to?
Lot's of Frank Zappa, Clutch, and Faith No More for me lately.
I've hardly payed attention to 2014 in music so far. I've only listened to maybe 5 albums so far? I need to catch up, the new Gazpacho is the album of the year so far for me. That might be their best, even better than Night.

I haven't listened to jack from 2014 compared to 2013 where I like gorged on new releases
I've been listening to more extreme metal lately, stuff like Watain, Peste Noire, Weakling, Darkthrone, etc. All of the (hot) hipster chicks I've been hanging with have driven me really far way from indie at the moment because all I hear is OMG VAMPIRE WEEKEND this and OMG ARCADE FIRE that

Clutch, eh? My dad is a super Clutch fan and has his iPod filled with Clutch songs. Great stuff!
I'm the same way, I've only technically heard two albums from 2014: the awesome self-titled St. Vincent album and Devin Townsend's space country Casualties of Cool. While these albums are pretty awesome, I haven't felt the need to check anything else out from this year, whereas 2013 had so many significant albums.
Currently, I'm listening to The Beatles discography to prepare for the Ringo Starr concert I'm seeing next week. I'm also gonna check out some of Ringo's solo stuff and probably the greatest Beatles solo albums, such as All Things Must Pass, Band on the Run, and Plastic Ono Band.

I've been listening to lots of Death Grips, Mastodon and Ne Obliviscaris How is the new Mastodon anyway? I've been meaning to check it out It's alright, it went even more in the direction that The Hunter started. A couple of the tracks are really fantastic (High Road, Chimes at Midnight, The Motherload, Emerald City), yet a couple of the songs trail off a bit and feel uninspired/rehashed.

Think multi-quote is broken... @ SMAP, well you're forever Darkthrone right? I was just listening to A Blaze in the Northern Sky a few days ago I've only listened to a little Watain, and those other two are black metal too from what I looked up, so I'll have to check them out. @ Zilla, Whoo Clutch! Awesome band that always makes me want to get real drunk... Hmm... And Ringo! Lucky man! His shows are supposed to be a lot of fun. Who's playing with him this time around? @ Toki, Ne Obliviscaris! Hell yeah! They rule. That's some of the most creative music of the last few years. And I still need to check out the new Mastodon, I've heard good things about it. I'm super psyched for the new Opeth too. Continuing on from Heritage, I wonder what they're gonna come up with.

I saw Ringo last night and he was fantastic! Ringo's All-Starr Band featured Steve Lukather on lead guitar, Gregg Rolie on keyboards, Todd Rundgren on rhythm guitar, Richard Page on bass, Warren Ham on saxophone and percussion, Gregg Bissonette on drums, and of course the legendary Ringo Starr. Not only did I hear a lot of Beatles/Ringo tunes, but there were some songs from Toto, Santana, Todd Rundgren, and Mr. Mister. I'll be sure to write about it soon!

Yep, Darkthrone is pretty much a constant in my life, I gotta give a good mention to their crust punk albums too, they're pretty underrated by fans. Definitely check out the Weakling track Dead As Dreams, one of my favorite songs ever.
