My ipod is finally out of space ;_;
I can still download tons of music to my computer though, but I guess I need to pick up a bigger ipod sometime in the future.

The only Metallica albums I've listened to are Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning, so no comment. Listen to Kill Em All, AJfA, and The Black Album. The rest really suck but you could give them a try. |

I don't think the rest suck. They're just different. And Death Magnetic is a decent attempt at going back to their old sound.

Dream Theater's been going steady for a while now, with solid albums coming after another. And while Metallica changed their style quite a bit, Death Magnetic sounds VERY similar to their old stuff. |

I thought that "The Count of Tuscany" and "The Best of Times" were just incredible, and the rest of the songs are really good too. Sure, Awake is probably the best Dream Theater album, at least in my opinion, but BCaSL isn't bad by any means. And I swear, if the songs off of Death Magnetic were recorded during the 80's, you'd probably like them and wouldn't be saying that. I just tend to think that you're judging these albums differently because they're new. |
