Since most of us here are drummers, I figure we should start a thread here. Post links to your solos, how long you've been playing, what you play, etc. Also, I'll add people's names to the OP who are drummers.

Anyway, I've been playing for a little over 5 years, have a DW 2 up 2 down combo with zildjians and Tama hardware. I play pretty much exclusively with Pro Mark Elvin Jones signature sticks. Lately, I've been playing the solo from In Memory of Elizabeth Reed (Live at Fillmore East) by the Allman Brothers. What are you guys playing?

I've been playing for one and a half years (I learned how to play from Rock Band ;D), I play on a Roland TD-4S with an extra CY-15R ride cymbal, I am currently playing with Vic Firth 5B Grip Sticks (But as soon as those break, I'm going to get regular sticks). Hmm songs I'm currently playing... I have a pretty wide mix of stuff that I'm playing. Save For The Bedroom by You Me At Six, Obstacle 1 by Interpol, Stay by The Icarus Account, Head In Hands by Valencia, The Mixed Tape and Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin, Little of Your Time by Maroon 5, Man Overboard by Blink 182, This Is The Life by Two Door Cinema Club, You're Ever So Inviting by Underoath and Across The Sea by Weezer are all songs that I enjoy playing right now. There are more too. When I get a video camera, I'm going to be covering most of these along with a ton of others.

I've been playing for a little over a year-and-a-half. I have a PDP beginner's kit with Sabian cymbals. I usually use Vic Firth sticks; currently I'm using a pair with nylon tips that I really like. As for what I play, I usually just put my iPod on shuffle and see what I can manage.

I've been playing Rock Band for 3 years. In those 3 years I've worked 6+ hours a day practicing so I could beat Visions and what not. I learned many beats on the way.
I've been playing real drums for only 2 months now but I'm not a n00b due to Rock Band. I already play with some friends and we are going to become a band after we get more solid. I am taking a percussion techniques class and am hoping to get into the drum line at school.
